Stealth Core vs Padlock
Both closures work, but they wear very differently. A padlock hangs on the outside of the cock cage — visible under clothing, swinging as you walk, and clicking against the metal with every step. A stealth core sits inside the seat instead: the outline stays smooth, nothing snags on clothing or bedding, and the lock makes no sound of its own.

Cleaning & Storage
- Wipe, then dry properly: warm water and mild soap across the brass, then dry it completely, including the keyway, where trapped moisture does the most damage.

Q2. Do I need a new cage as well as the cylinder?
